FoldFocus
FoldFocus is a focus timer you start by closing your phone. On iPhone Duo, fold it shut and the session begins, with the countdown on the outer display. On any other iPhone, turn it face down. While the phone stays closed, a pixel-art building rises in your city, and longer sessions build bigger buildings, from a house at 10 minutes to a landmark at 90. Open it early and you have ten seconds to close it again before the building falls and leaves rubble for a day. Sessions count toward a daily goal, a streak and a weekly history. FoldFocus needs no account, keeps its data on the phone and does not block other apps. It launched on 23 October 2026.

Five facts
What makes it different.

Closing the phone is the start button.
On iPhone Duo the session starts when the phone folds shut and the timer runs on the outer display. On any other iPhone it starts after the phone lies face down for two seconds. "Start without closing" works too.

Buildings scale with focus time.
From a House (10–20 min) up to a Landmark (90–120 min), with six styles per size. The launch in-app event is the First Landmark Challenge.

Peeking is forgiven once.
Opening the phone mid-session gives a 10-second grace countdown; stay open and the building falls (rubble clears after 24 hours). Sessions that end inside the first minute are false starts and leave nothing behind.

No account, data stays on the iPhone, no Screen Time access, no app blocking.
